The Nursing Assistant Program is a comprehensive program designed to instruct students in the skills and abilities necessary to provide basic nursing. Graduates of this program will be able to communicate and interact effective with patents/residents and assist them with their daily living activities. They will learn to perform basic nursing skills as well as personal care skills; vital signs, bed making, bathing, feeding, range of motion grooming,etc.

Graduate of this program may find entry-level employment as nurse aide and/or home health aide,within a hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, adult day care centers and various other medical settings.

The program is 4 weeks, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The program is offered in English and in Spanish.


Student will learn basic office practicalities,document formatting,customer service and career development skills. Students will gain familiarity with computer technologies including computer basics,keyboarding and numerous Microsoft Office Programs.

Graduates of this program may find entry-level employment as office assistants, data entry keyers, word processors, typists, clerks within an office setting in school systems, hospitals, corporate settings, government agencies and/or other offices. Graduates may also find entry-level employment in the service, hospitality, retail, call center, marketing, help desks and other industries in which customer contact is a vital operation. The program is 6 weeks, Monday to Thursday, 8:00 - 2:30 p.m.
